Even before the COVID-19 pandemic, mental health was among the top health concerns in the state of Maryland and the greater United States. This need has only grown, as the community has faced some of the most difficult times in recent history. With the formation of Luminis Health, Anne Arundel Medical Center (LH AAMC) and Doctors Community Medical Center (LH DCMC) made a commitment to increase access to high quality care within the community. In doing so, we opened the J. Kent McNew Family Medical Center in April 2020, where we provide comprehensive mental health services in Annapolis, and have recently received approval for mental health facility on the LH DCMC campus, construction scheduled to be complete in 2023.
Many of the mental health services provided are not reimbursed by insurance, making community support a vital piece of this program. For decades, both LH AAMC and LH DCMC have partnered with community to raise funds and awareness through first-class events. In June 2022, we will come together for the benefit of all Luminis Health mental health services through the first Drivers & Diamonds golf tournament.
It wouldn’t be Drivers & Diamonds 2022 without you!
The Masters Golf Experience comes to our region – a two-day Invitational Golf Extravaganza like no other!
